I asked a similar question about the Beast's name in the Disney club, but nobody answered it. Maybe because it's been asked here and I never checked it out.

I don't know the Beast's real name, so I'll go to number two.

I think the rose would bloom until the prince reached his 21st birthday, in his lifetime, not only as a beast.

And I don't believe the castle was really enchanted for 10 years. Didn't we look at the beginning of the movie, there was shown a portrait of the prince? He already looked like a grown-up lad, maybe aged 17 or 18.

In the stained-glass scene, when he refused the enchantress, he was shown as a young man too, not a 11-year-old boy.

About Lumiere singing Be Our Guest and saying 10 years under a spell, that was only a song.

i think u r realy misunderstood, but first of all let me tell u the beasts (or the prince) real name is (adam)


okay the rose will wilt when the prince become 21 not the rose wich means after 10 ten years, and when u say the prince was cursed when he was 11... it's true... i found that out when i saw B&B part 2 (enchanted christmas) they showed us that the prince was just a little boy between 10-12.. but unlike u i think it's cool......


by the way every time i wach the movie (be our guest) stay in my head too,and not only for one day but for almost a weak.... :)

Ok well to make it clear to you the narrator says that the rose which the enchantress gave the beast would bloom until his 21st birthday and if he learns to love and she will love him in return the spell would be broken but if the woman he loves doesn't then the last petal of the rose will wilt and the beast will remain like that for all eternity.Also the setting for the movie i'd say could be either the 19th century or the 18th century because the men in the movie have ponytails and the beast in human form has long hair so.


His name: If you wanna know his real name some people think its Adam more think its vincent but we never get to know at the end if he had a name or what?. Btw I love this film too and I saw it on youtube so many times. Great film

Personally I think he became immortal for 10 years or something along those lines.
