First, a short summary of the episode.
A bounty hunter named Sunder attempts to remove the Omnitrix from Ben. His attempts ends up sending Ben into the Null Void without his left hand. While Ben tries to find a way out, Gwen, Kevin, and Julie fight Sunder to keep Ben's left hand from falling into his clutches.
This episode tested Ben's strength. He had to fight on his own, except for some lucky times where people with his hand messed with the watch. He was like Spider-man in the beggining of the episode! Webslinging like he was, all throughout the city just like Spidey!
I have been noticing a pattern in the season three episodes. It's not that big, but there has been a lot of people trying to steal the Omnitrix from Ben lately. Maybe it's nothing, but there are a lot of bounty hunters. Just like in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Cartoon Network puts Star Wars and Ben 10 together(if you haven't noticed) and now even the plots are similar. It reminds me of the original Ben 10 when everyone was after Ben's watch. Alien Force left that, and now is kind of coming back to it.
Julie was tough in this episode. She is little by little getting more involved in the show-especially the fighting parts.
Did anyone else notice that one of the little boys' in the park who found Ben's hand had Kevin's voice? Why would they use Greg Cipes for two characters in the same episode? It was so obvious! Casting director needs to get it together. You cannot let things like that happen.
Speaking of Kevin, he's adorable! I love how he was making cute jokes! More humor is when Julie and Gwen were trying to keep Ben's hand away from Sunder, and Julie said, "Keep it away from the big ugly guy!" and Kevin looked up! Funny! But Kevin is tall, dark, and handsome. Also when Julie and Gwen were passing Ben's hand back and forth while Sunder was trying to catch it-I never thought monkey in the middle could be so hardcore! Another thing that happened during that fight was when Kevin claimed he couldn't work on the device and protect Gwen and Julie at the same time. Then Gwen said "This lady doesn't need protecting," which we knew all along, but was finally put out in the open:)
Kevin was really good at almost scamming Sunder(duh) and it would have totally worked if Ben hadn't spontaniously turned into Brainstorm. No biggie though, they always find a way to win. It was ironic that the same thing happened to Kevin that happened to Ben in this episode. If Kevin didn't know what to do, Ben woulda been royally screwed. Ha ha-good thing we have Kevin<3
While in the Null Void, the creatures WORSHIPED Ben's hand. He put a pinky up and they were exstatic! I can't get over it! Even when his hand is somewhere-not even his full body-he gets praised and loved!
The Null Void was a good location to pick. For some reason, I like the Null Void-its a nice demension. [I'm a wierdo:)]
To end this review, another pun. The title of the episode and the plot. It does make sense, and this is a pun-filled series; but if I had a dime for every time there was a pun in this series, I would be extemely rich.
