"I wouldn't pee on her if she was on fire" Bette Davis Bette Davis was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 5th 1908. Davis' mother said she demanded attention since the day she was born. Her parents divorced at an early age and she and her sister were raised by their mother. She was denied admittance to the Manhattan Civic Repertory. They consider Davis to be boisterous. She graduated from John Murrary Anderson's Dramatic School where they thought of her as the "star" student. After graduation, Davis appeared in many off broadway plays.
