If Elizabeth had a preference then she never acknowledged it - not publically anyway. In her biography "My Bewitching Life" Elizbeth says she had great respect and admiration for both Dick York and Dick Sargent as actors and a deep affection for both. She kept in contact with both Darrins (Dicks) until their passing just a few years before her own death. She was also very supportive of Dick Sargent (Darrin #2) when he "came out" publically, joining him in the 1992 Grand Marshall Gay Parade in LA.
Elizabeth and husband/Bewitched director,William Asher, also fought hard to keep Dick York on the show when his illness kept him from work. They did not want to replace him but the studio insisted that a new actor had to be found. Dick York's absences from Bewitched were causing the series to run behind schedule and costing the studios a lot of money. Also contrary to popular belief, Dick Sargent was not Elizabeth and William's first choice to play Darrin when they were casting in 1963. They had always wanted Dick York. It was the studio that wanted Dick Sargent as Darrin.

Thanks for the answer Cammie :) Since she was so close to them both it's sure understandable that she wouldn't want to pick a favorite.
I don't think that she liked either of them more. We'll actually never know if she did or not because she's not here to tell us. The only thing we'll know is who we like more. I think I liked Dick York as Darrin better because he was the first and I like his face expressions more. That's just my opinion.
