Do you think Bewitched would've been as effective if the character roles had been reversed? In other words, if Samantha had been mortal and Darrin had been a warlock?
This has never really been confirmed either way, but do you think Adam developed supernatural powers like Samantha or remained mortal like Darrin?
When the Bewitched pilot was written in 1963,the writers had to change the script several times before ABC accepted it. The series was deemed to dark and "witchy" for TV!
