The 21-year-old actress has been on enjoying her time off from work and exclusively told JustJared.com about her hiatus.
“I’ve traveled all over Asia,” Blake shared, “I went to Thailand, India and Maldives. I stayed at the most incredible place in the Maldives called Soneva Gili and you have to take a boat to get to your glass-bottom hut in the middle of the water. It’s gorgeous!”
Ms. Lively didn’t stay idle while trekking through Asia. “I’m half-way to getting my scuba license and I went to cooking school in Thailand,” she shared. “I never get time to do things like cook and travel, so now I have two months off and I’m trying to take advantage of it as much as I can.”
When asked if she took back any sourveniers from Asia, Blake told JustJared.com, “Yeah, we actually rode elephants barefoot and washed them one-on-one in the river. It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. I got a painting that an elephant made for me and that is definitely my most prized possession. And some beautiful jewelry from India!”

The Kooba Tess Hobo is a youthful, classy new style which comes in Luggage (brown), Sky (dusty blue — shown), and White.
Kooba always looks like Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively to me — it’s no wonder they named a bag after the young star. The look is sleek and yet complicated; pretty, yet utilitarian. At 16.5″W x 9″H x 6.5″D it is large enough to hold your wallet, camera, and makeup bag, yet dainty enough to carry in the evening.
The bag features luxurious, soft grained leather, double straps and a zip top. The buckles and hardware come in silver or goldtone, according to color choice, and there are several interior pockets.
The Kooba Tess Hobo is available from Bloomingdales for $575.00.

“I’m a crazy person”
The 21-year-old became an absolute star over night because of her role as Serena van der Woodsen in “Gossip Girl” - a role that the blonde girl from California still has to get used to.
BUNTE:In the show “Gossip Girl” it’s about an it-qlique attending a New Yorker elite school. How have you experienced your school days?
BLAKE: My time attending High School in Los Angeles was like this bad teenie movie with Freddie Prince Jr. Very american! I was a cheerleader, class president, part of the choir and dressed as a bulldog mascot for sports tournaments. I always took extra courses whenever I had the chance to and you could find me at student meetings in a burger restaurant friday evening. Many of my class mates were often mean to me but I loved the school!
BUNTE: Your character Serena can relate to that. Are there any other similarities?
BLAKE: While I’m a silly, crazy person, Serena’s often characterised as being serious. That’s why I have the most fun when Serena shows her dark side.
