Here's a do it your self board game that two or more players can play.

First you'll need either a wall calender or simply take a piece of paper with a grid of numbers going from 1 to 30.

For game pieces you can either buttons, game pieces from another board game or anything else that can be used as a game piece.

Finally you'll need a die to determine how many spaces a players game piece can be moved. This can be found in any board games you might have.

The rules for this game are simple. Each player throws the die and moves their game piece accordingly. So on a 6 the player will move his game piece 6 spaces. The first player to get to 30 wins. If you would like to stretch out the game use a month with 31 days.

Nice and simple.

Possible variants inspired by other board games:
* if you land on a Sunday, lose a turn (day of rest)
* Each player uses 3 pieces of the same type, distinct from the other players' pieces. The goal is to get all 3 to the end of the month.
* If your piece lands in a space occupied by another player's piece, you send their piece back to the previous Sunday (which can have players starting before the 1st, if they get caught the first week)
* If playing with multiple pieces, no two pieces can occupy the same space, so if a move would put your piece into an already-occupied space, you can't move that piece and have to move another.
* You have to get into the last day of the month by an exact roll.
* If you play on a calendar with holidays shown, landing on a holiday will have a special effect: move one extra space, take an extra turn, lose a turn, move ahead one week, move another piece forward/backward one space, etc.
* This is another which requires multiple pieces: each player chooses a day of the week. Play continues normally, except that pieces reaching the end of the month do not stop there, but wrap around to the beginning. The goal is to have your pieces occupy only the chosen day of the week. For example, if we played with 3 pieces in the current month and I chose Friday, I would win if I had a piece occupying 5 June, 19 June and 26 June.
