Have you read 'speak' by Laurie halse anderson? Did you like it?
I havnt read the book.. yet but i plan to, ive seen the movie and im in love with it, its funny but at the same time its so so sad. to think that that kind of stuff happens everyday! I really do suggest you see the movie if you havnt seen it.
I have read the book but I have not seen the movie. The book is quite tragic; I can't imagine how it could become funny in screen form. Nevertheless, the book is quite good. You should indeed read it.

thanks, is it? i mean the movie is sad to but they somehow put some funny scenes in there aswell, Like at one point the father tries to cut a turkey with an axe-that was pretty funny to watch. Anyway ill defently read it.
