If you like vampire books try The Vampire Diaries series or the Vampire Academy series(both really awesome). Or if you want something like teen drama try the Gossip Girl series. One of my favourites is Stephen King's It which is kinda scary and I also like Tolkien's Hobbit and Silmarillion they have lots of magical creatures in them and they're awesome. The Chronicles of Narnia is really great too although the movies are better than the books and there isn't much romance in them. And... have you read the Lord of the Rings? Best book I've ever read!!! I hope this helped!

I have been reading The fourth realm trilogy. Author is John Twelve Hawks, first book is The Traveller, second the Dark River, and the new one is The Golden City. There are some special powers, but nothing like you may expect. It has a special look on the world in which we live, or will real soon :)

The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. They are absolutely amazing fantasies, plenty of plot twists, romance and magic. They are big books so there's plenty to read!!

You really need to read Tamora Pierce, her books are awesome. In the first serie (The song of the lioness) has a maincharacter (and many other characters) with magical skills, lots and lots of romance (that goes for all of the series in the universe of Tortall) perhaps there is a low on the twists but you'll probably never guess who Alanna (the maincharacter) ends up with in the end.

And of course there is Susan Carroll! She is brilliant and her books about the Chevey-sisters are phenomenal! The eldest Chevey sister does magic and so does the French Queen. And all of the sisters have romances to die for! Totally worth the read.
