Mad Cow Episode on November 3, 2008

My husband and I have been debating about the part during the Mad Cow Episode where Danny Crane address the Administrative Board to decide about Jerry making partner.

I heard Danny Crane say if Jerry doesn't make partner, he would take his name and leave the company. My husband did not hear the OR part, and we played it over and over, he heard Danny say that if Jerry made partner, he would leave the firm?

I need clarity on what Danny Crane actrually said. I know it is petty...but that is what happens when you have a Republican living in a house with a Democratic on the even of elections.
