I was surprised by how this episode started. Walt seemed to be making a very bad decision with missing his child's birth. Also, it seemed like he had a chance to get rid of jesse. I just don't see a lot of story potential for him and now his habit put Walt in danger. Its only a matter of time when that kid ruins the entire thing. The ending was sad. I didn't want Jane to die (even though there wasn't much left for her character) and it was a way to get rid of Jesse. Walt should've saved her.
The thing that struck me as amazing was all the things that must have been going through Walt's mind while watching her die. He probably wanted to save her but he knew he couldn't call 911 because that would place him at the scene. He would have a hard time explaining why he was there to begin with. Also, he did not like her and knew she was a horrible influence on Jesse. The third thing was this, in letting her die, everything she knew about Walt died with her (One less person to worry about blowing his cover.).
