I couldn’t take my mind off Jacob for awhile. It was about half way through the reception when I started paying attention. “Edward, why do I feel like this?”
“Feel like what?”
“You know,” this kinda bothered me.
“No, I don’t know. I can’t read your mind remember?”
“Oh, right. Sorry. I feel like: I’ve been torn in two, hurt beyond repair.” Edward chuckled, was my pain really this funny? “What’s so funny?”
“You,” he answered. I looked at him with a confused look on my face. “Look love, you love Jacob- he said his name with a tone of bitterness that I’d never heard before- and he hurt you so you going to feel...broken.” He kissed the top of my head but that wasn’t enough for me and I looked up to kiss him and to my surprise he didn’t protest. When he pulled away before I was done I huffed in disappointment.
“ Love-” I cut him off,
“You put the idea in my head,” I complained! “I thought today was about us?” I challenged.
“Yes it is about what we want but more importantly it’s about being together forever.” I couldn’t argue with that.
“Forever,” I agreed putting my head on his chest.
“I don’t mean to interrupt but do you mind if I dance with my brother Bella?” I knew this voice at the first sound too.
“Of course not Alice.” Then another voice came from behind me.
“I’ll dance with you little sis.” It was Emmett. Alice and Edward had already danced off.
“Oh, that makes me feel much better Emmett.” I said in a sarcastic tone and I heard Alice and Edward laughing. Emmett ignored me and put me on his feet just like Edward does. We danced I blushed. Emmett Laughed at me. The whole basic but normal routine. Then after two songs Edward Came back to dance with me but it was more of an upbeat song and we well most likely only me were surprised. Alice came over to me.
“This song is for you and me, Rose and Edward, Jasper and Esme, and Charlie and Renee to dance to.” Charlie blushed and I mouthed sorry to my mom. Alice saw me and whispered to me, “I made it an upbeat song so they wouldn’t feel to out of place,” Alice apologized.
“It’s ok Alice and there dancing, I want to thank you for it actually-”
“I know,” She had cut me off.
“Of course you do, but anyway I hate them feel so out of place around each other so thank you Alice.” She chuckled at my response.
“Your welcome Bella, sisters have to look out for each other you know.”
“I know Alice.”
