The easy choice (Peyton), or the hard choice (Brooke)? BLP triangle

So all of you will probably start wondering why i'm talking about what i'm about to talk about, when you think it has no nothing to do with the blp triangle, but i promise you it will, and you'll probably see it by the time your done reading the article! If you guys don't like how this article starts out, i promise you will like how it ends!!

Ok so my dad and nephew watch this show: burn notice right. And whenever i'd see them watching it, i'm like can you please change the channel, because i thought it was stupid. But a few days ago i got really bored, and nothing was on tv, except burn notice, so i start watching it.

Information about the show/episode:
1. This episode in some ways was a triangle
2. Michael is the main character of the show
3. Fiona another main character, and on and off again girlfriend of Michael
4. Sam is a guest star for this episode, and the ex fiance of Michael
5. Michael was a spy, but than was burned, so he gets hired by people now, to help them with a situation
6. So in this episode Sam goes to find Michael, to ask for help, because this man that she was working for at the time took her son
7. But when Sam shows up everyone is suprised to see her, cause they didn't know that Michael was engaged before

Now on to explainin this further. Since Fiona didn't know anything about this Sam or about the engagement, she gave Michael a hard time...she wanted to know why he called off the engagement to Sam, and so he tells her at the end of the episode.

This is what took place between Fiona and Michael at the end of the episode:
F: “Did it go alright?”
M: “Yea, its over now”
F: “Well its late I should go…”
M: “…wait”
F: “Whatever your gonna say its…its in the past”
M: “It is, and it isn’t, Fi…Sam and I worked, because she was like me. She didn’t mind that my job was lying to people, she loved it. She did the same thing. Made being with her easy…and than I met you. It was……it was different. It was never easy. You knew a part of me, she never did. And I left her, because you don’t marry someone, when you love somebody else.”
F: *sighs*

And as soon as i was done watchin the end of that episode, it made me think of the blp triangle. In this Sam (Peyton), Michael (Lucas), and Fiona (Brooke). i could not get out of my head the last thing that Michael said.

Because in my opinion the leyton relationship is easy, because they are the same...which the show has made the point of shovin in our faces. but see their not doin any harm to people that ship bl, their doin it to the people that ship lp!

Lucas and Peyton don't fight...their always this fluffy couple...they only see one another as what they want the other to be...which isn't reality!! but when lucas is with brooke they fight...they have problems...they see the other as who the other is, not as some twisted person that they want the other to be, but as the people they are...they see the flaws in eachother, but they still love one another despite them...which is reality!

There was this other part in the quote where he says "You knew a part of me, she never did." which takes me back to the scene where Lucas brings Brooke to the river court, cause he wants her to be part of that world:
B: "So, do I get to be a part of this world?”
L: "The biggest part”
He never did that for Peyton, he didn't bring her to be a part of that world like he did with Brooke.

Thats why i wrote this, to show that the easy choice isn't the best choice, but is the easy choice! Sorry if all of you didn't understand where i was goin with this in the beginnin, but i hope you were able to by the time you were done readin it!

If any of you would like to see that burn notice episode its:
season 2 episode 15: Sins of Omission

I have a question for you guys: do you think lucas should be with the easy choice (Peyton), or the hard choice (brooke)?

duh, the hard choice brooke!

reminds me of the QoH theory, lindsays the easiest, brookes the hardest and peyton was the in between. damn lucas is a wimp, he just takes whatever is handed to him.

^omg amen to that Dean-Girl! lmao. forsure! i hate when LPers always use the whole "BL was soo dysfunctional, they always fought and were soo insecure" well the quote above puts it the best. The best things in like are forsure the ones worth fighting for and thats wat lucas did with brooke. for me arguing and fighting shows you care lol. and i LOVE the whole piece you wrote, iv watched like bits and pieces of the show Brun Notice but now i might actually watch for real. that whole quote between the characters fit BLP perfect! great job!

-that statement is so true!!

i know this quote fits them great...when i was watching that episode, my sister (unfortunately shes a leyton fan *cough pucas*, i really think she was dropped on the head or something, lol) was on the computer at the time, and i'm like "see thats why brucas belong together!"

and thanks so much for your guys wonderful comments, they truly mean a lot!!

just have to add, brucas are destiny!! if your able to see all the flaws in a person, but still love them unconditionally despite them, thats when you know you've found the one!!

Omg this is going into my favourites!! This was intersting from start to end because u got me thinking omg what is she going to provee!!

Brooke is the hard choice and sometimes people want easy aka Peyton... and the quote is perfectt!! omg im gonna re-read thats how good it is and its also easily explained i think x]

another part that i think should be related to LP is
She didn’t mind that my job was lying to people, she loved it. She did the same thing. Not the whole sense of lying in a job BUT Lucas lied to brooke in s1 and Peyton agreed actually she DID THE SAME THING! So yeah they knew eachothers lying and that, i think is bringing out the bad in one another...
But i sware THANK YOUR BROTHER AND DAD FOR WATCHING THAT SHOW!
