Hi BLers, My name's Sidra - new to fanpop, this is my first article here...I was just watching some Brucas videos so got this energy to spread some MAJOR Brucas hope around..Once in a while we all need some fresh Brucas hope..so here it is..(for LPers - this is a major PRO-BL article!)
so guys plz do give feedbacks...
I am writing this article with regards to the poll that took place at this spot abt whether u accept BL is really over...& 65 % ppl said yes..which makes sense because for 3 years BLers have been requesting Mark but he doesn't seem to budge even a bit - he wanted LP, he gives us LP...makes Peyton pregnant, makes them engaged.
Saying that, like many BL fans have pointed out - things are just going too smoothly to be the endgame..I mean we have seen couples changing suddenly at ends of OTH seasons..
...what I mean to say is Lucas's relationships have never really been that stable (sorry luke but thats the truth u gotta deal with it:P) ... and just because this isnt high school doesnt mean it can't happen again...couples dont just break up and patch up in high school only..they do so after HS too..high school just means the fun's over be serious...but does that mean luke cant seriously fall for brooke once again? do we think him falling for her now would be too wierd?? i mean if he can say i luv u to lindsey propose her and then all of a sudden at the end of the season propose peyton, then it's quiet evident that after brooke he seems to carry his heart in his hands, then whts to say he doesnt have feelings for brooke in the back of his mind still??
With OTH, there's always been a surprise....yes, LP have been set up from the beginning, but wouldn't that just bee too simple too predictable that the guy girl together from first episode so they're gonna be the endgame..that's just too simple..I know Mark can write many surprising SL's...
So all I want to say is, even when I think of all that LP are right now - engaged, pregnant - it seems far fetched to me that BL would happen, but it hurts me even more to accept that they wont happen, and with those looks that brooke had given in season 5 to her mom and that adoption lady:
S5E5: "then lucas scott was the one guy i wud give it all up for"
later on in the season when that adoption lady asked her "hav u found the right person yet?" & when she mentioned lucas's name..
those looks that brooke gave in those scenes, plus her telling her secretary milli (sorry dont remember her name) that ur friend may say its ok but its NEVER OK!
all this gives me the feeling that Brucas is not completely OVER...& guys even if Mark says it is, think about it, since last 3 year he had like 50 % of OTH fanbase wanting Brucas back - which is why he still have us those nice brucas scenes in s5..
but in s6 he introduce julian he made peyton pregnant, and look wht happened, out of the 50% oth fanbase, only about 10-20 % remain who still think brucas can be..and im not saying thats wrong because honestly even im on the verge of losing all hope and letting oth just be wht it is..but then i think that ANY show is wht it is becuz of its fans..they knew v brucas fans were waiting for brucas when he had 50% of oth fanbase for brucas..but wud they really care if only abt 10-20% fanbase believed in brucas now??
So the only point Im making here, is let's all try to keep Brucas hope, in minor ways just letting the writers know that we still believe in Brucas, and it can happen. Let's keep the hope still alive, because honestly no matter how much LP they give us or how much Brulian they give us, Julian can't be Lucas for me, and I cant get myself to like LP ever (for sum reason i just can't like them)...I know this might sound a bit silly i mean the show's about to end and wtever..but hey u know, wht if chad signs up for s7? so find petitions requesting chad to sign up for s7..honestly if he signs up for s7 brucas has MAJOR hope.. which is why i said i will hope for brucas until the last episode (which v dont know if its this season or next!)..
So, keep the Brucas hope alive Brucasers, let others know that if we can win 3 consecutive polls with 3 years of no Brucas (portrait magazine's top 10 ships)...then v have a strong fanbase and our fanbase wants brucas back! & We still believe in Brucas no matter wht the writers throw at us...BL was our fav Couple..it will always be..& we will always believe in it:)

i hope brucas fans who`ve given up will get their faith back for a while (atleast until end of season 6)..:)
livexthexlife92: ur right its like the more the writers ignore us BLers, the more LP scenes they throw at us, the more we want to fight back and yell BRUCAS 4EVER! lolz..
RealLuvAlwaysBL: u know even though i wrote a whole article in trying to keep up the faith..i myself was abt to lose sum faith after these few epi's..but reading ur comment is making me believe in BL even more:) thnkx..:)
I despise LP and can never ever ship them and I kinda really dont like Brulian either. Brucas is THE ONLY couple I love. They own my heart!
