If Comedy I would Totally Go With Either "Tabula Rasa" Episode:8 Season:6 Or "Once More, With Feeling" Episode:7 Season:6 But If You Go With "Once More, With Feeling" Make Sure You Tell Him That It's Not Always Singing. If You Go With Drama I Would Totally Go With "Becoming, Part One & Becoming, Part 2" Episode:21&22 Season:2 Or "The Body" Episode:16 Season:5 Remember If you Want Him To Be Hooked Starting At The Beginning Is The Best Because Then That Way He Will Know What's Going On.

Hush is the first episode I ever watched and that got me hooked

As a fan, I would have to agree with the fact that the seasons are better further on down the track. however, I got my friends onto it, starting with the first episode. It may be super lame and cheesy... but I think that's part of the appeal. Then again, my friends can be very geeky at times, so I suppose it depends on if he's similar to you and if you liked the first episode.

yes i too have to agree that the better ones later on but, i think it helps in developing the characters if you start with Welcome to the HellMouth... but on the other hand you could pick something funny like Once More With Feeling or nightmares....i think its called its in season one

I would say the first one but then maybe also something like surprise to get them hooked or the first episode of a later season.

I agree the later seasons are better. Season 5, 6 and 7 are my favorites :)

make him watch the very first three. i know that's about 140 minutes of buffy, but these three episodes not only show room for improvement, they also show the very basis of buffy, the reasons why most of us fell in love with the series. he may be a bit put off by evil cheerleaders (Witch) but hopefully he'll sit through it!
