Welcome friends of the Buff, Minions of Spike, Watchers in Training, Zeppos, Wiccians, Broody Do-Gooders, Mystical Keys, Evil Masterminds, and of course former and/or current demons! It is with great pleasure that we welcome you tonight to the offical opening of The Scoobies, The Buffy Oscars event right here on your favorite spot - The Pop. Don't know what they Scoobies are? Just clicked on something that you were curious about? Allow me to fill you in on the exposition. The Scoobies is completely fan run, fan based, and fan broiled. Everything that was chosen is directly from you, the fans. See our theme? It's about what you loved from Buffy. Let's just forget those pesky Emmys and do something far more important - honor this amazing show. If you are a fan of Buffy, a lover of Whedon or one of Angel's Avengers then this is for you. Over the course of approximately a month the fans on the Buffy the Vampire Club have been coming up with categories that range from your favorite hat to the most heartbreaking speech, collected a conclave of nominees, made icons and artwork, and overall been a buzz about our approaching awards ceremony, and I would like to now say we are just two weeks away. Below you will find the Offical Ballot for The Scoobies 2009... but before you go there I would just like to layout the basic idea for how this is being constucted. There are 122 Slayerettes up for grabs and thusly 122 categories, to make this easy for you and for the offical 'counter uppers' each category is numbered (from one to 122) and each nominee within that category is lettered (A, B, C, etc) so all you have to do is submit your votes using this handy-dandy Xander friendly format. For example, in category one I believe that nude Xander is by far the most embarassing moment on the show (in a good way, of course) so I would vote like this; 1. B and then continue on with the next 120 categories. Where do you submit these votes?
