But… before you go there let me just fill you in on what they Scoobies are. The Scoobies are the fan run Oscars for Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Fanpop. It is completely fan run, we pick the categories, put up the nominations, vote, advertise, make icons, and run everything to do with it. It is truly a fan event. Now, to linkage with you! The Buffy Spot is Dead – The Forum that showed a need to do something grand. A Buffy Event Yet to be Named - Where we decided to move forward and gained some interest. Categories –Making a long list of the topics we wished to address Icons & Advertising – Spreading the word and making icons for the Scoobies, icons can also be found here or by searching for the term Scoobies Awards The Honorary Mr. Pointy – Post anything you want to regards to Mr. Joss Whedon Nominations – Where we took nominations for the categories. For a nominee to advance to the real ballot they had to be first nominated and then seconded by a different user. Scoobies for the Pop – This was a great idea from Alice but, and I believe it was because everyone was so focused on the show awards, fizzled, I’m sure this will occur though at some point as Alice rocks. Scoobies…? – faeriegrrl27 asks what the Scoobies are and we have what might be the smallest overview of our large event. Building the Ballot – We all banded together to build the ballot and add images and videos to the nominees Images, Icons, Vids – We rock so much we needed a separate thread to house these items for the Scoobies Buffy Chat Petition – Getting everyone to sign up to support a Chat for the spot Scoobies on MSN- Just incase the chat didn’t happen. The Chat did happen though! The Scoobies Awards and Event Planning – How on Earth are we doing this? We figure it out of course! I'm all for the Shanshus! I probably won't know half the stuff I'm voting for though because I am yet to buy all of the season box sets, so I've only seen every episode in seasons 2-4 once :(
