Well I had a lot of thoughts about the show coming back on. I have been reading a lot articles and the web about Season 8 of Buffy is coming on television.Well,Joss Whedon have been preparing the comics and the series together to get show back on air. The stars from the show want the show back, and they been hearing about Season 8 . They thought that the season 8 was a great success for the show. Then there was a problem. The Paley festival on Buffy Reunion Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't feel like playing her character on season 8, She founds out that her character becomes gay in the series. Sarah has been thinking about her character kissing a girl. Now then there conflicts about Spuffy and Bangel fans fighting about Buffy becoming gay in series 8. Joss Whedon wants to have Spike and Angel back on the series. Even though he has been thinking about Season 6 of Angel the series. All the Spuffy fans want Buffy and Spike together in series 8. So doesn't the Cordlia and Angel fans want them together in series 6 of Angel. Joss Whedon has been thinking about the fans want there favorite couples back on the show. Joss Whedon said that he would have the show back on televison and trying to figure out the fans favorite couples back on the series.
Where did you get this information? Most of it is foreign to me, and I read every Buffy article I can find.
Personally, I think they should do a movie someday, using the technology that the Beowulf movie used. That way, they can employ the same actors, but portray them as though they haven't aged. The special effects could be really cool too.
I really don't think that the show will ever return, but that there is a small chance that we'll see a movie someday.
I don't think it will. Joss said that he would make a movie of them and abandon the comics, but both SMG and DB have made it clear they wouldn't do it. Joss has also mentioned how so many stars would have to align to get that project off the table.
And Buffy doesn't become gay actually it was a one time experiment for comfort. And you can't actually turn or become gay or bi, it's how your born. Some people experiment, but that doesn't mean they aren't still straight, like Buffy.
And I think the reason the Cangel shippers aren't talking about wanting their ship back is the fact that Cordelia's dead. It's really the only thing separating them.
Nah, there might still be hope for a Buffy movie, and I would love it, personally. I know there's been talk of a Spike movie for years, and Amy Acker and maybe Alyson Hannigan signed up for that one.
And hey, maybe SMG would be willing, but I'm pretty sure DB wouldn't. Which, hey that would be fine by me, no Bangel angst, lol.
Ripper was going to be a British series airing on BBC in Ireland and England however a pilot was penned (not sure if Joss wrote it or not) but never picked up by the BBC Joss has said its extremley unlikely it will ever happen
Wow, i've never heard of this before. Lets just hope it does happen. Even though I'm a Spuffy fan, i wouldn't mind if he brought her back gay or with Angel.. as long as we have the show back. :)
