          I currently own 78 Trans Am 400-cid W-s6 suspension solid bushings, 4-spd T-Tops. Black on Black, Worked over the engine quite a bit, as well as the suspension.
GM at the time had that Uni-body thing happening and made it feel like you had a huge hinge below your windshield! So even though it’s not a Corvette which I have owned a few of in the past, with some massaging, she is very nimble now. Although I do live in the country, very rural, my friends and I like to leave “Posi Shots” in front of each other’s homes. (We will never grow up) we still like to head down to Route 9 (Yes the same RT.-9 Bruce Springsteen sings about) and play café racer in and out of traffic.
Yeah, I know café racing is more conducive to winding mountainous roads, and is usually reserved for motorcycles. But we still do it in heavy traffic, and see who gets to whatever predetermined destination first. Ok, Ok, I KNOW.. It’s dangerous, its juvenile..
