Back in our June issue, we offered on lucky Glamour reader the change to go on a Lunch Date with Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford. We asked for a killer question and the suggestions ranged from the cute ('Will you marry me?') to the creppy ('What is your address?'). The winner was 22-year-old Anna Jones from Twickenham, southwest London, who grilled him about everything from his ideal woman to his home hygiene habits...
Anna: So my winning question was, 'Would you rather, for the rest of your life, sing instead of talk or dance instead of walk?'
Chace: Tough one. What would you do?
AJ: Well, singning would be really annoying and I guess you could do a slow dance or perhaps some hip-hop...
CC: Yeah, probably dance instead of walk because singing could get a little too much and we probably talk more than we walk anyway. Yeah, dance everywhere, no matter how bad you were!

Over the past few years on “Gossip Girl,” Chace Crawford has been working so hard, punching his card. Now, he’s ready to make his leading-man debut in Hollywood, and it’s time to tear up this town. Yup, he’s getting ready to cut loose, “Footloose,” and kick off his Sunday shoes.
“We were good to squeeze it in during the hiatus between the third and fourth ['Gossip'] season,” Crawford told MTV News at the Teen Choice Awards, discussing his soon-to-shoot remake of the Kevin Bacon dance classic. “It’s great. I’m training right now in New York, and it’s pretty intense.
“I’m more like [Chris Penn's character] Willard, trying to learn the dances at this point,” he grinned. “I’m getting muscles that I didn’t even know were there worked out.”

When viewers last saw Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) in the season finale of “Gossip Girl,” he was heading off to Europe with ex Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szorh) after splitting with Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) yet again – but the actor told Access Hollywood on Thursday he’ll have a new love interest this fall.
“She’s a beautiful southern girl,” Chace said of his character’s new romance, played by “Privileged” star Joanna Garcia. “They’ve got the conflicting family backgrounds, [so] they kind of hide the relationship and it plays out. It’s good. Joanna Garcia’s lovely, so we’re having a good time.”
“Gossip Girl” returns to The CW on September 14, but fans will have to wait a little longer to see Chace unleash his dance moves on the big screen in the remake of “Footloose.”
“It’s been intense,” Chace said of his training. “It’s not the gymnastics stuff so much. I have a bit of athleticism so they’re letting me see what takes shape and create something original.”
