I am a huge fan of one tree hill i was shocked and dissapointed when i found out that chad and hillarie are leaving.i love chad he is sooooooooo hot and he is such a goood actor i can't believe i am saying this,but one tree hill is going to suck without them:(

It's nothing like one of the fans said. Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton both agreed to leave together so that they give Leyton a happy ending. Hilarie had some other future projects and she had to focus on them. If they had money problems, they wouldn't have made a season 7 at all and ended it, and they wouldn't have brought new characters!

I think it had something to do with the pay and they and they couldn't afford to keep them on any more something like that anyway

i assume that it has something to do with problems of money. I admit that i love OTH because of Lucas and Peyton. So Chad is really important to OTH.
