I stepped onto stage with my partner, my heart began beating faster, this was it my time to shine. I quickly moved into the correct starting position, an arabesque. Waiting, waiting for the curtains to open and the music to start so I could come to life, I began to promenade when the music started, reverence, turn and then the interaction betweeen me and my partner began.
