Chris is a truly gifted actor who brings skill and intensity to every role he plays. He has unquestionably the most extensive range of any actor of his generation and has given special performances in many films and telelvison programmes including Jude, Elizabeth, Shallow Grave, 28 Days Later, Hillsborough, Hearts and Minds, Flesh and Blood and Second Coming. In 2005 he took on the iconic role of Doctor Who in the self-titled BBC series.
Chris' performance as 'The Doctor' brought him brilliant reviews and awards; he gained many new fans through the show. They admired his brilliant interpretation of the role and his striking good looks didn't go unnoticed either!
He's always looking for new acting challenges and his latest role was in the new hit NBC series 'Heroes'. He's recently been filming 'The Dark is Rising' in Bucharest and will play the Rider, the movie's villain. The film is released in October 2007.
