So I found another picture like the one here check it out. I think that was supposed to be John Wayne in the other one, just not a great picture. This is a much better view. Of course in this one, Oliver Hardy is left out and Groucho Marx is replaced by Frankenstein. Hope this helps some. Anyone know which of the two pictures is the original group?

I couldn't find the pic at all. Okay, now in this shot that is definitely John Wayne. And I must say Frankie replacing Groucho is an improvement.Okay, so I love movie monsters, lol! Can someone actually settle this by telling us who the 2 cowboys are in the first picture? Axlluver43 said she does know so ... spill the beans, girl!

I'd go with Alan Ladd in the top picture, but definaely john Wayne in the lower. Eveyone else is pretty obvious.

Dude this really belongs in a quiz ... but I'll answer anyway.

L to R: Laurel & Hardy,Elvis Presley,Clark Gable,James Dean,Charlie Chaplin,Marilyn Monroe,Humphrey Bogart,Fred Astaire,Cary Grant,Harpo Marx and Marlon Brandon.
Ok the guy between Marilyn and Humphrey with the yellow cowboy hat also looks like James Dean so if that's who he is then the guy between Clark and Charlie has to be some other dude I can't make out. Maybe Alan Ladd?
I tried ... do I get a prize? LOL!

I think that the mystery cowboy between Gable and Marx has to be John Wayne (even though it really doesn't look like him). The reason I think this is because these are meant to be very famous icons. Can you think of another actor that defined the western like Wayne? Also, second from the end on the right, I believe is Groucho Marx as well. I wish I could see a bigger version of this picture somewhere. Anyone have a link?

You are so right,Tracy ... I got my Harpos and Grouchos mixed up,lol. I know what ya saying but that dude just don't look like The Duke. I'm gonna try and find a bigger image of this, shouldn't be too hard as it is a very famous painting.
