I'm with lolitalulu. I mean, I've never seen a pick about a strong, lonely, male main character asking if he needs a WOMAN. Lilly might need support, but I think she gets that from her team. I don't think she needs a MAN, specifically. A FRIEND, maybe. A man? Nope. Not unless she wants one. But she doesn't NEED one.

Not that I'm against Scotty and Lilly. They'd make an adorable couple. But they don't need each other. And they shouldn't.

Truth be told, no woman really "needs" a man, but they can be good to be around. ; ) Scotty and her should get together.
