Coraline stumbled though the woods and gulped.
'Stupid wybie! Can't he last a week without getting himself into trouble?' She thought as she gazed at the big ghostly trees around her.
She usually loved mud and nature, but at midnight everything seemed to be different, everything seemed more gloomy, more gothic, more dark.
Coraline stared over her shoulder. for once she wished she could be back home, even though mum and dad would of never of noticed she was gone.
'No I can't go back Wybie's in trouble!' She told herself, as she paced among the vast forest.
Wybie had vanished without a trace for a week now and the black cat told Coraline that he knew where he was; in the old castle that lied aamong the scary wood. But nobody had been there for centuries. How could she get inside?
A soft rustling sound entered the woods.
"Who's there?" Shouted Coraline, switching on her torch speedily.
But no one was there.
She turned around again, determined to get to castle when something leaped for her neck.
