Bottom Line:
Sugarland's sophomore album, Enjoy The Ride, was produced by Byron Gallimore. It contains a total of eleven tracks - all co-written by Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush with the aid of a few other writers (Bobby Pinson, Jeff Cohen and Tim Owens to name a few). "Stay" was written solely by Jennifer Nettles and former member Kristen Hall helped co-write the last track, "Sugarland."
The time for "Settlin'" with whatever the woman could get is over in the album's first song. She's setting the standards a little higher this time so she won't have to be happy with anything less than perfect. "I've had enough so-sos for the rest of my life," she sings.
Another upbeat track is "County Line," a song paying homage to that special place where you grew up feeling like you could do no wrong and where your troubles could be forgotten. It's where you experienced love, life, and good times with those closest to you.
"Want To" is the album's first single and is about a woman who wants to stay in the relationship but leaves the choice ultimately to the man. "We could keep things just the same, leave here the way we came with nothing to lose....
