Basically I wanted to write a bit about fics.
When I write the stories tend to be crime orientated, much like an episode. A lot of fics are all about the private lives of csi's etc...I don't have anything against these as long as they are kinda realistic. I'm just really not that good at writing that kind of stuff. Though I have tried it in sections of fics. I much rather prefer sticking subtle hints into the stories of ships. Even then it's normally at the request of someone.
I like writing the short one shots, especially as most of the requests I get are for funny stories. I also like writing the serious ones, but it's fun to make people laugh.
My huge project, the triple crossover is taking forever, since October to be exact. But it's not because it's long, more because it's complicated. I have to recall several cases, who is working with whom, and all of the connections, both subtle and glaring!
Plus in amongst this I made the mistake of starting a 'request' Ryan Wolfe one-shot kinda project, which is now up to something like nineteen stories. I say mistake as the requests fly in, just as I catch up I get another two or...
