Thoughts on Monday's Finale

So, no one else has started anything fresh on this so here goes.

I was rather surpised at the cell phone message at the end of it being done.

I have felt the show is really Horatio's. He has been a tremendous main character and now. With him shot it is now in turmoil.

Who might lead the unit?

Who shot him? His ex had a rather urgent errand, hmm.
