Which seasons of CSI should i buy?

I want to buy some seasons of CSI, like around 3, but i can't decide on which ones i want to buy! i would appreciate some help on this... and for the consideration my favorite character is Greg! but that didn't help me... :)
i will seriously consider what you tell me though... along with my own opinion of course :)

I have just finished watching season 5 again on DVD and its a really good season. From the point of view of being a greg fan it has a lot of him because its the season in which he qualifies to be a CSI. It also contains a number of personal dilemmas which allow us to get a better idea of who these people are. From a cost point of view it should be cheaper that the most recent series as it has been out longer.
