So, what did you all think? I absolutely loved the pilot of this show... and it being commercial-free didn't hurt either. Glenn Close was amazing, and Rose Byrne (Ellen) wasn't too bad either.
I also like the format of the show; we know something really bad is coming Ellen's way, but we don't know exactly what and we don't know why...
I'm not as impressed with the "flawed hero" and "who's good, who's bad?" type of show, since I have been a fan of FX for years. But that said...
I really did enjoy the pilot (and second episode), and will definitely stick to Damages for it's whole run, which I predict four seasons tops. Glenn Close is ALWAYS amazing, so I wasn't too shocked. I kinda like Rose Byrne, but it is not for her acting, though I can't explain why I do. LOL. I can't wait to see how the first thirteen episodes end.
Oh, and Ted Danson? Absolutely amazing! I am pleasently shocked to see how well Danson is doing as Frobisher.
