We love Damon because

1) He made us stare at him with great pleasure when he first appeared in the show!

2) He is such a badass!

3) He is a heartless savage vampire, but we don't really care!

Excerpt:
"Damon, why are you here." My question didn't sound like one, more of a demand.
"I figured you could use some help."
"Uh, no. You can leave now." Uhg. Why was he here?!
He bowed his head and put his arms out in defeat.
"Fine, I'll leave. But you'll see; you will need me." A devious half-smile spread across his face.
I tried to twist my face in digust, but I'm not exactly sure what it looked like - his smile made my heart do stupid things, therefore making it harder to hate him.
