I certainly want David Spade to know there are many, many people in Phoenix who are very grateful for his generous contribution to the City of Phoenix PD. When he learned our officers were öut-gunned" by the bad guys (and were asking permission to buy their own guns) David gave $100,000 to the department for the purchase of better equipment for the officers. I also understand David made a contribution to the widow of a Scottsdale police officer (who lost his life on duty). While most Hollywood celebrities were jumping on the Obama band wagon, David choose to act by addressing issues of his home state, making a great difference to this community. Way to Go, David!
