Mian! (Sorry) I didn't know where else to post this. I was going to post it in the "nEWS" section, but there was no "add topic" thingy on it... so here it is...
So I was going thru some sites to see what juicy stuff I could add onto here... ^_^ And I found this....well I'll give u the link all the way at the bottom. lol
I have never bought tickets for concerts in Korea and whatnot, but I'm sure if I lived there or planned to go I would buy tickets to go see DBSK! lol
So anywho... I didn't know it was SOOOOO hard to get tickets... to ANY concert. Foreigners have been complaining that Korea want's to expose more Hallyu outside of Korea... but isn't too compliant with their requests of posting up ENGLISH sites or at least a little section in korean sites. How are they supposed to buy tickets to a concert if they can't even read what their clicking? I know a lot of us have gone through that when we're trying to find pics or vids or info on our favorite artists... *coughDBSKcough* ^.^ I know I HAVE! I went to a site to find some Junsu pictures and... O.O it was all in korean! And not the Korean I've been studying... u know with the actaul script, but some freaky numbers-mixed-with-letters-and-math-symmbo
ls type of Korean! O.o I know since Junsu is Korean I should expect to see a LOT of Korean sites to be in that language...but c'mon! How are people like us, who have none or little knowledge of the native language, supposed to do? just site around and wait for people to subb every vid that we want? That's what we're doing right now anyways...but u get my point. lol We have to wait for those who do understand korean to create sites/fanpages in english... and then be able to understand what the site says.
I almost subscribed to some magazine when I went to a certain site to look up info!!!! I just stopped cuz I saw $39.99 written next to something... had it not been for a friend of mine, who IS korean, I would get 2 yrs. worth of zines! lol
I know this is getting long...longer that what I usually write... O.O But I just wanted to ask if anyone else had the same problem?
I know it's unfair to say... to a certain extent... cuz Korean fans of American artists might have the same problem. At least english is like #2 in " Top spoken languages in the world" unlike Korean which is 16... (I actually looked this up here's the proof...

So anywho... here's the link I was talking about where fans/foreigners express their complaints. Check it out and let me know what u guys think, ne? ^.^

The boys have barely had time to take a breather from their activities in Japan. Now they're scheduled for all these concerts?
At least they're being promoted back in Korea! Many Cassies, both Korean and International, have been patiently waiting for their idols' return.
If any of you can go to these events please do us international fans a favor and bring fancams!!! ^_^

<3 you DBSK
I'm studying Korean now, from a book and on my own mind you, so I sort of suck at it. I was thinking of posting up a topic on how to learn Korean. It would be a lot of work trying to keep everything posted and besides I don't know how to change the roman letters to hangul. I'll work on that though so please be patient.
Is the Book helpful? Your probably not as bad as you think you are. It's kind of funny, every where I there is at least 2 or 3 people speaking Korean and I can like pick little bits and try to understand what they are saying but they say it so fast.. I feel like I'm eavesdropping but I just wanted to see if I understand it.
Do You watch Korean dramas?
Hollywood Bowl IS aired on t.v, but only in certain states and on certain chanels. I'm pretty sure California airs it since it's held there. If you have cable or satellite t.v you can probably watch it. I'm not sure of the chanels though, mianhe!
That would be awesome if DBSk can debut here in the U.S too! They can have tours here and everything. I would want them to come to Chicago. WAAA~ *spazzes* I would pay ANY price to go to their concert.
The book is VERY helpfull. It has 2 audio cd's so I can hear the proper pronounciation for the words. I sometimes go to Korea town and walk around. There are people that speak Korean and I understand a few words they say. I go to this restaurant, which they sell the BEST green tea smoothie I have ever tasted, and the owner helps me with my pronounciation. She's really nice.
I do wartch Korean dramas. They have english subbs so I can follow along lol. I try to imitate what they say and it works. I have watched Coffee Prince, My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Full House, and some other ones on t.v.
