I agree with everything he said. I have heard reports that "Global Warming" will cause sea levels to rise 3 feet by the 2100. 2100, that's 93 years away, and it's only 3 feet! That would not effect any city one bit.

Dennis Miller makes a whole lot of sense on many avenues! He may be blunt sometimes, but sometimes it is needed to slap some sense into people!

3 feet might matter a lot to some countries.
For example Bangladesh. Most parts of Bangladesh are less than 12 metres (39 ft) above the sea level, and it is believed that about 50% of the land would be flooded if the sea level were to rise by 1 metre (3 ft). Big parts of the Netherlands are less than one metre above sea level. Just as two examples.

You know what he sounds like to me? The grasshopper in the fable of the ant and the grasshopper. Do you folks know that story?

"We'll replace oil when we need to, American ingenuity will kick in."

Hm, yes, very much like the grasshopper.

You crack me up sometimes, Cinders. Dennis Miller has more experience in these fields than most of us combined in this Fan Forum.

He's a pundit, and like many pundits, his facts are skewed. Ann Coulter, Michael Moore-- they all skew facts to fit their point of view.

Still thinking grasshopper.

this is complete bullshit (sorry for the language). this is a pretty concise summation of everything that is wrong with the public perception of environmental movement. "we'll replace oil when we need to"??? you mean like when THERE'S NONE LEFT!? WTF? this seriously makes me want to tear my hair out in anger. do some goddamned research before you go spouting off like you know ANYTHING about the subject. ARGH!!!!!

tvman - you live in Vancouver right? well 3 feet is enough to render all of Richmond and downtown Vancouver uninhabitable.
