I just got back from watching Denzel in American Gangster and that was one heckuva performance. It was hard not to make comparisons to his bad guy in Training Day that won him the Oscar, but this time he was much more calm and cool than he was in that movie. He will probably be nominated for Best Actor for this role, but I'm not sure if he'll clinch it. Great movie though, Ridley Scott did a very good job.
