Yes they are making a season 6. ABC confirmed it on 24th April. Not only this but Marc Cherry has signed a deal that will see a 7th season as well. What happens after that is currently up in the air.

i'm sorry to say this but marc cherry said that he's going to end the show sometime in 2010 - 2011.

Well I did a research and discovered that nobody mentioned it! But let's hope they will surprise us and make season 6!!!:)

sounds like we will have 2 more seasons at least.

god i hope so i own up to season 4 on dvd i have just finished watching the final eps of season 5 on channel 4 (in the uk) it was ex twisted at the end
i hope it goes on forever i just dont know what i would do with out it
i guess i could watch them over and over again
but i cant wait till season 6 and 7 buti guess ill ahve to wait till next year for season 6 huh
