Sociopaths in Sweater Vests - Topher as an Autistic Character

This is a blog post I wrote on depictions of characters I interpret as having high-functioning autism, Topher among them. I usually crosspost onto Fanpop, but there's not enough about Dollhouse to warrant posting it here as an article.

	Dragonclaws said: He is a bit of a jerk, but he does have certain traits that make him seem like he's on the autistic spectrum. He is very intelligent in certain specific areas, seems ignorant of proper social interaction, has weird mannerisms, is often off in his own world, and then there's the stereotypical lack of empathy to some extent. If Joss didn't intend him to be autistic, he certainly gave him a lot of qualities of high-functioning autism. posted 28 days ago.
