Where the hell are all the people who love great actresses?
This spot was created more than 6 months ago by the great DarkSarcasm and it only has a fanlist of 4. I'm shocked to bits!
I realize this is mainly a younger generation's site and many wouldn't have even heard of Dorothy McGuire. However, surely there has to be more than 4 users on this site that like and admire this lovely and talented actress.
Dorothy McGuire belongs to an era where Hollywood did have real talent and movies were more than just computerized effects.
I get really annoyed when I see this spot and other worthy spots so neglected. Well,I've had my rant and now I'll probably go and find something else to bitch about, lol!
I agree with you, Cammie! I mean, how awful is it that such a brilliant actress as Dorothy McGuire has only five fans on her spot? Most people on this site are probably younger, and not so many young people like old Hollywood (though age is no excuse, I'm 18 and I think old movies are the best!). However, even among adults, Dorothy isn't as well known as a lot of other actresses of that era, for whatever reason (it's a mystery to me how such an actor could be overlooked). I know what you mean, old Hollywood is woefully overlooked on this site! I mean, there isn't even a spot for Singin' in the Rain!!! (I'm thinking about making one) Movies these days (for the most part) are so unoriginal and pointless. *sigh*

Singin' In The Rain - totally awesome movie. I had the great privilege of meeting Debbie Reynolds nearly 30 years ago when she was in Australia - lovely and talented star.
