Okay. Sure Draco could be arrogant and sometimes power-crazy, it doesn't mean that Hermione is there in his heart, just a little chache place where no one is there except for her. I am prety sure lots of other...things are in his mind as well, but I would like to think that Hermione is there in his heart, just a special small, warm place. Draco needs to bring that out.

I think that Draco does have a heart. But, I don't think Hermione is a part of it...yet. There is the possibility for her to be in there, but I think he's so caught up in the war, Voldemort, his mission etc that he doesn't really realise that there is a possibility. He just needs a shove in the right direction, because he's not really as cold-blooded as he is described when he's with the trio. I mean, look at the bathroom scene, look at when he couldn't kill Dumbledore. He's just a scared little boy who needs a hug lol.

I think that he's only like he is now because of the things his father taught him when he was young and the pressure he was put through. He was also taught that Purebloods were the best among others and was raised to hate half-bloods and 'mudbloods' as Hermione is! And it's just a part of his 'training' to become a Death Eater when he's older and take over his father's place.

But I think deep down inside, he has a heart and is kind-hearted unlike his father and doesn't want to hurt or kill people but help them. Also, I think he's a bully to everyone and is closed off, showing no emotion because people would'nt respect him and fear him and his father would not like him anymore.

Also, once he learns that he loves Hermione, he'll be a much better person and the REAL him will come out! We all know that Hermione's actually there in his heart, the one place where the love is hidden, she's there, hiding, waiting...

I think Draco is scared because he is pressured by his father to be a pure blood but I personally think he wants Hermione but he's mean because he can't make up his mind. Sometimes boys are mean to girls when they have a crush on them.

O believe Draco is madly in love with Hermione but he is afraid to show his feelings because the deatheaters would not stop untill they killed her.

I think he is too caught up with what his family is involved with: Dark Arts, war between Voldemorte and the wizarding world and his family's and Voldemorte's pure blood supermacy to even give a second thought of love interests.

But i think the reason why he gave harry, ron and other Gryffindors more hell than hermione cuz i think he admired her quietly from afar even though she was a mudblood and beneath a pureblood so to speak, she has power and Draco respects power.
