We've caught it. But, how? How did we aquire this infectious disease? The answer is simple:
we have the gift of seeing relationships in places and people that the ordinary observer would not have realized in a million years. Dramione is a fabulous example of such a relationship.
Hermione- Muggle-born, Gryffindor, friends with Harry Potter, unpopular, favorite teacher: McGonagall.
While as Draco;
Draco- Pure-blood, Slytherin, enemy of Harry Potter, popular, favorite teacher: Snape.
So how do these two different wizards fit together? Basically, opposites attract. The thrill of a forbidden love entrances not just the two lovers; it also seeks (and finds) our attention. There is only one cure for this virus, and it is a cure that requires a HUGE change of mind and attitude. It is a change that comes slowly, but naturally. It can be frozen for some time, but never ended. It is what causes adults to become adults. It is what ends childhood. Growing up.
Growing up can be a tremendous gain, but it can also be a terrible loss. A loss of fantasies and imaginaton. Simply put, loss of freedom.
My fellow Dramione lovers, do not deprive yourselves of this wonderful time. Do not seek the remedy for this fever. For when you do, all will be lost.
Never end your addiction for love, instead, spread it throughout the world, and you will find yourself living in a place open to any pure kind of imagination; a place where thinkers can think and dreamers can dream.
Finally, never lose hope. Keeep kindling and nourishing your Dramione fever.
