SciFI: Just RENEW the Dresden Files!!

HEY SCIFI! The entire nation - the entire WORLD - has wizard fever! The various television Networks have planned their Fall Seasons to capitalize and cash in on this current fascination. That's why I believe it was the most inspired moment of genius on the part of SciFi Channel to introduce a series in January based on a wizard in modern times!
Introducing the Dresden Files in January gave the series time to collect a following, to amass a fan base so that when the next to last Harry Potter movie and J.K. Rawlings last Harry Potter book were released and Wizard Fever overtook the country, the SciFi Channel would be perfectly poised with Season 2 of their OWN wizard - complete with fans - ready to take advantage of this obsession! Brilliance!!
Unfortunately, that's where the brilliant planning not only ended, but has now come to a screeching, crashing halt!! There has been NO follow through on Season 2 to capitalize on the foundation laid by Season 1! What a horrific loss of opportunities!!!
The Dresden Files series was perfectly timed to take complete advantage of wizard furor, with the DVD release of Season 1 the first week of August (pre-orders are booming). But instead of profiting enormously from this confluence of events, Ms. Hammer, you and company at the SciFi Channel have decided it would make more sense to SHELVE this essentially cash cow, and instead air a Fall Lineup of untried, off-topic and uninspired reality shows!!
Good lord, can you not see what you HAVE?!!
The Dresden Files is the next huge hit with spectacular syndication potential - this series could be bigger than Stargate SG-1 ever was!! How can you not see that the Dresden Files is a sure, proven winner with built in advertising, a devoted fan-base, built in demand for merchandise, and enormous growth potential! The Dresden Files has the largest, broadest demographic of any show ever aired on the SciFi Channel with potentially unlimited advertising sponsor potential!!
And you're LETTING IT DIE!! The time is NOW, and it is totally obvious that postponing or delaying release of Season 2 will allow the furor to die down - the perfect opportunity will be past and the built-in free advertising from Potter-Mania will have died down. I'm begging you to NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!
Renew the Dresden Files for Fall & take advantage of the perfect advertising storm you have right within your grasp!! Opportunity is knocking - don't walk away!!
