This battery may be the big break we've all been waiting for. 10x the recharge cycles, up to 5x energy density. Imagine if that 80,000 mile battery instead lasted 800,000 miles before needing replacement... That's almost a lifetime of driving.

Much faster (0-60 in somewhere around 6 seconds) and of course much more efficient than a gas xB. Hopefully battery prices will come down. No fuel cell; straight lithium-ion batteries. Nice review complete with cheesy video.

A puny, and, dare I say, cute electric car that utilizes a lithium ion battery pack (no hydrogen pumping fuel cell needed here!). I'm a bit surprised at the 100 mile range considering the newish-tech batteries, but I guess it's a smaller pack.

What is that hotness that serves as the Electric Cars Spot banner? It's the Tesla Roadster; this appears to be the first published test drive (not ride) of it.

Details on the Equinox fuel cell-powered electric test vehicle. Too bad it's not the GM Sequel!
