Amy Adams was born in Italy on August 20th 1974. Her father worked in the military and was also an amateured actor. There is 6 in her family. Before Adams became an actress she worked in Hooters and The Gap at the age of 18. In 1999 she worked with Kirtie Alley and Kirsten Dunst in Drop Dead Gorgeous. She also appeared in numerous Tv shows like That 70's show, Charmed, Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Other film roles she did were Serving Sara, Talledgha nights, Pumpkin, Cruel Intensions II and Underdog.
In November 2005 she auditioned and won the part of Princess Giselle in Walt Disney's Enchanted in which she played a cartoon 2D princess who transforms into a human version in NY and falls for an attorney named Robert played by Grey's star Patrick Dempsey. The movie was nominated for 3 oscars and it also made Amy Adams a star. After she stared in Miss Petigrew live for a day and most recent NATM II as Ameila Earheart.
She will be next seen in Julie and Julia, Leap Year, and The Fighter opposite Chritian Bale.So from being a waitress in Hooters to becoming a megastar Amy Adams is truly an enchanting actress
