"How are you today?" "Are you happy?" English is now considered an international language because the world is getting smaller, because of texting on the internet and on cellphones. A new way young people learned to speak is slang. Slang changes almost every year. So slang basically means a new generation. There are words such as "Awesome, cool, excellent, and intense." The most commonly used slang word is "cool." Did you know that people have been using that word for over 50 years!
