I am going to teach people who can't speak English (Ing-lesh) English has several words that mean the same thing, they are called synonyms (sin-non-nims) such as, "How are you?" "Are you okay?" "How are you today?" "Are you happy?" English is now considered an international language because the world is getting smaller, because of texting on the internet and on cellphones. To learn more English go on youtube to watch MisterDuncan's videos on how to speak English. Another way to learn to read a small dictionary. When you know the words and definitions, work your way up to read the Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary.
A new way young people learned to speak is slang. Slang changes almost every year. So slang basically means a new generation. There are words such as "Awesome, cool, excellent, and intense." The most commonly used slang word is "cool." Did you know that people have been using that word for over 50 years!
