No, not really, she's super sweet, but I'll bet if her family were threatened she would kick some serious butt. It says one of her gifts is the capacity to love deeply. when people you truly love are threatened, it can cause that reaction.

Admittedly, it's pretty hard to imagine. I definitely can't picture Esme being mean, but I do see her fighting. Like Carlisle, I don't think she'd enjoy the violence or would want to fight, but she's so motherly and caring that she'd do anything to protect her family. If that means that she has to fight in order to defend, I can see it.
