How did you find the EXTRAS conclusion (Xmas special)?

I really liked Andy's speech about celebrity at the end of the episode in the Big Brother house. It was a very apropos and moving way to show that Andy had finally come around and gained closure about his fascination with celebrity and realize what is really important in his life. Ricky Gervais is a genius!

I actually cried at that moment, dave! Andy cried, Maggie cried and I was in tears!But I feel like the whole thing did not have a proper closure- like a reconsiliation moment with Darren- or what will Andy actually be doing in the future-stay in the profession or completely abandon it?

There are too many loose ends. I did like the Modern Christmas Carol nature of the story though.... the ghost of Xmas past was Maggie reminding him of where he came from. The ghost of Xmas present would probably be the Ray doll, and the ghost of Xmases to come is lionel blair. I liked that about the story... but it just ended far too quickly.

I kind of wanted them to end up together. I felt like at the end they had just got back to where they were at the beginning--they had come full circle, but I can't help thinking we should have got at least a suggestion that Maggie was going to find a proper boyfriend and Andy was going to be successfull without becoming an A-hole. So that they still kept the Andy-Maggie friendship but they both had something a bit more fulfilling in their lives too.
