Hi Extreme makeover, my name is Trina Marie Sutherland you guys enspire me to help other people. I am now 18 years old, from a little isolated place called Attawapiskat, its in Ontario, Cananda. I watch you show every day on you tube. Watching your show always make me think of helping other people so I want to help my community and i need your help...
this is my story...
Attawapiskat is on the James Bat Coasted I know that you guys dont come this far up north but i want to help our school. We been fighting for a school for nine years now. It all started in 2000 when our school got an oil spill. i had to leave my school in grade two. all of the students had to share the school with the highschool. it tramatizing. we finally got portables when i was in grade four. We been fighting with the goverment for nine years and still got nothing. I am in my last year in high school.
I grew up in Attawapiskat, I have over 100 first cousins 9 aunts and for uncles. I keep moving place to place to go to school going to school in portables aint good, its not healthy. i want my family to have a better school for the future. we dont even have a gym in our school we litterly have to walk five minutes to the gym to have fun...it sickens me that i had to go though this but at the same time i didnt really care because i had my family and friends and teachers teaching me a lot. During elementry school for me was terriable to be honest because going to school was my favoriate thing to do and all the school closing and all that stuff was not right and not fair... i traveled alot to go to school. since i was in grade six i moved to north bay ontario and i went to four schools there until grade 8. i went to like five high schools so far this is my last year~:D~
i love you guys so much i know you guys probally cant help us but i would like you to do anything you can to help this school. Its called jr nakogee elementry school... if i had three wishes it would be building a school for the future children of attawpiskat my second wish would be to be onr of you guy the design team and to get a new school as soon as possibe
