56 reasons to love fans

okay i know i sometimes annoy certain users with "credit this" and "keyword that" but i do love the majority of you guys and so this is a dedication to my favoritist of fans and something for new fans to read about this brilliant community, now i couldn't think of a 101, i'm sure there are 100s of reasons but these are my 5656 reasons to love fans 1. fans will thank you randomly for just uploading content 2. running jokes amongst fans are some brilliant little jokes 3. you can act as obsessed as you want and not fear being thought of as weird 4. you can be a fan of anything and anyone 5. the owners of this site, even though clearly superior to us also act like normal fans 6. some fans have amusing user names that are fun to say 7. fans will eventually start to stalk you, giving you a feeling of never being alone 8. American fans will upload new episode of our favorite shows, so us none Americans are not behind on shows 9. fans give you cool nicknames like debsacles 10. fans will give you props 11. fans will rate your content, thus giving you shiny medals 12. fans will stick up for you against the likes of trolls 13. fans will make you cool videos and fan arts for your birthday and Christmas 14. when lots of fans like your work it's fun to see it featured on the front page 15. some fans out there will always listen to you know matter how long you babble on for 16. fans don't mind when you preech about how brilliant fanpop is (unlike none fanpoppers) 17. fans in the advice spot will listen and help no matter how small or big the problem (a personal reason close to my heart *hugs everyone*) 18. fans will teach you interesting things 19. fans will make you laugh at least once a day 20. fans can recommend shows, books, bands, artists, hobbies that you would have never otherwise taken and interest in, thus creating new obsession 21. fans don't let other fans drink and fanpop 22. fans create random forums and picks just for fun 23. fans can sometimes give a whole new perspective on things 24. some of my fellow fans have agreed to share james marsters should one of us ever catch him 25. fans welcome new fans with open arms 26. fans will compliment your own artwork 27. fans will helpfully criticize you own artwork if you ask them to 28. fans aren't afraid to be honest 29. fans can find what your looking for on the net when you your self can't find it 30. fans come up with some of the coolest ideas 31. fans organize the best events on the net 32. if it wasn't for fans, fanpop would have to shut down which is just unthinkable 33. fans make each other virtual pop corn and cookies 34. fans help one another make secret plans to kidnap those they are fans of 35. fans sometimes don't speak but will do amusing things such as *hug* or *burns trolls* 36. any anti fan clubs are banned so you don't ever have to worry about what you support 37. somewhere a fan is uploading something so you never have to fear boredom 38. fans also have a variety of cool and interesting user icons 39. it's fun to stalk other fans 40. you can act as weird as you want and somewhere you will be accepted 41. fans will band together against the evil smurfs 42. no matter how weird or bizarre the spot some fan, somewhere will show some interest 43. fans have the ability to give ideas and say what they think of the site 44. fans can change your opinion or give you a new out look 45. the word fanpopper is fun to say 46. you can trust fans and open up to them 47. fans will make you cool icons for you to use 48. fans will also make cool wallpapers for you to use 49. interviews with fans are some of the best reads on the net 50. fans create the best community on the net 51. fans are normally happy to help with projects 52. there's no such thing as fan groups or needing acceptance or permission, anyones welcome to join anything 53. there are several spots just dedicated to the brilliant fanpop comunity and the fans with in it 54. ideas like the fanpoppy awards are reasons alone (we'll have to see how fanpop's got talent works out) 55. fans put smiley faces everywhere :D 56. i'm a fan and your a fan and let face it, we're pretty awesome ;D |

Without fanpop, I would've never known about Gossip Girl (and many other things), and I have no idea what I would do without it. lol.
This is such a great article, Debs! I'm definitely saving it! :)
And finding awesome pictures and icons and videos I would never see otherwise. Getting to know people you argued with A LOT (like lila :) and starting to like them... Plus all those reasons debs just mentioned!!
