Ways to help improve our fanpopping skills
|
Lately there's been a lot said and written in the way of articles,picks,etc about the so-called deterioration of the Fanpop site. This is not another heavy-handed article about user conduct or inappropriate behaviour. I do not happen to believe that flogging the same issues over and over again actually benefits the site or the fanpoppers. So all I've done is put together, in a light-hearted way, what I refer to as the '10 commandments' of Fanpop. Unlike the image, these commandments (tips) are not set in stone,lol, but I think they can be useful in helping one be a better Fanpopper.
1.)Thou shalt not spam Fanpop
2.)Thou shalt not have multiple Fanpop accounts
3.)Thou shalt not use abusive/offensive language
toward another fellow Fanpopper
4.)Thou shalt not make pervy or sexually-
suggestive remarks toward another Fanpopper
UNLESS thy name is johnminh!
5.)Thou shalt not offend 'older' users ...
everyone has to age
6.)Thou shalt not offend 'younger' users ...
everyone was young once
7.)Thou shalt properly image credit ...
not a site rule but keeps things legal
8.)Thou shalt properly keyword content ...
makes life easier for the searching Fanpopper
9.)Thou shalt rate fellow Fanpoppers' content ...
shows appreciation and good Fanpop will
10.)Thou shalt have fun,fun,fun whilst Fanpopping!
Commandment #10 might not seem like a likely rule as such but that's the reason we are all really here.
